Based on my own recovery and years of supporting women on their healing journeys, Breaking the Binge Cycle combines lived experience, practical tools, compassionate guidance, and a community of women who truly understand—giving you the confidence and support to create lasting freedom from the binge-restrict cycle.

The Story That Inspired Breaking the Binge Cycle

It’s hard seeking help from someone who has never experienced what you’re going through. That’s why I decided to create this program—because I truly understand what it feels like to struggle with binge eating. I struggled with binge eating disorder for about five years. I hated my body. I was scared of food. I became depressed. I often isolated myself. I was constantly irritable, stressed, and overwhelmed. I couldn’t stop thinking about food or how my body was being perceived by everyone around me.  My eating disorder crept up on me slowly. It began as a binge every month or so. Then it became biweekly. Then weekly. Then, at my lowest point, daily.  My weight fluctuated constantly. At one point, I gained 30 pounds in a single month during a period of daily binging. I punished myself at the gym. Picked myself apart in the mirror. Cried myself to sleep. I honestly hated myself. But one day, something shifted. I came across the story of someone who had overcome binge eating disorder, and for the first time, I felt a glimmer of hope that recovery was actually possible. I realized that there were other people feeling the exact same things I was feeling—and there would continue to be people struggling silently with this in the future. Something inside me ignited that day. I decided that I was done. I was done living trapped in the binge-restrict cycle. I was going to overcome it. I was going to create my own method. And one day, I was going to use that method to help others overcome it, too. So, here I am to say: that is exactly what I did.  And I am SO excited to share it with you, because it truly changed my life. I have not binged in years.  And one day, I want you to be able to say the same thing, too.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What happens if I can’t make a session?

A: Life happens! If you need to miss a session, you’ll have 72 hours after the session to watch the recording and catch up on anything you missed. You’ll also still have access to that week’s resources and materials.

Q: Are the group sessions recorded?

A: Yes! Each group session will be recorded and available to participants for 72 hours after the session. After that time, the recording will no longer be available. This gives you an opportunity to catch up if you miss a session while still helping protect the privacy of everyone in the group.

Q: How many people will be in each group?

A: Groups are intentionally kept small so everyone has the opportunity to participate, ask questions, and receive individualized support. Each group is limited to 12 participants.

Q: Do I have to talk or share during group sessions?

A: Not at all. You’re encouraged to participate in whatever way feels comfortable to you. You’re welcome to share, ask questions, or simply listen—especially while you’re getting comfortable with the group.

Q: Will what I share during sessions stay private?

A: Your privacy is incredibly important. Breaking the Binge Cycle is intended to be a safe, judgment-free space where everyone can speak openly and honestly. All participants will be expected to respect one another’s privacy.

Sessions will be recorded solely for members of your group and will only be available for 72 hours following each session, after which access to the recording will be removed. Recordings will not be shared publicly or with anyone outside of the group. While I cannot guarantee the actions of other participants, I will take every reasonable step within the program to protect your privacy and create a space where everyone feels comfortable sharing.

Q: Is this therapy or treatment for binge eating disorder?

A: No. Breaking the Binge Cycle is a guided educational and support program based on lived experience. It is not a replacement for treatment from a licensed healthcare professional.

Q: What will I receive as part of the program?

A: In addition to our weekly group sessions, you’ll receive resources and exercises designed to help you put what we discuss into practice between sessions and continue making progress throughout the program.

Q: Can I reach out for support between sessions?

A: Absolutely! Support doesn’t stop when our weekly session ends. Throughout the six-week program, you’re welcome to email me with questions or anything you’d like additional guidance on. I’ll respond to all emails within 24 hours, so you’ll never have to wait until our next session to reach out for support.<3

Q: What if I feel more comfortable working with you one-on-one?

A: I completely understand that a group setting isn’t for everyone. If you’d feel more comfortable working together privately, I also offer one-on-one support where we can focus more closely on your individual challenges and goals. Feel free to reach out to me directly at hello@beautybeginswithin.info to learn more about one-on-one options and whether they may be a better fit for you.

Q: What happens after the 6 weeks are over?

A: The end of the six weeks doesn’t have to mean the end of your support. You’ll leave the program with the tools and resources we’ve worked through together, but if you’d like continued guidance, you’ll also have the option to join Beyond the Binge, my ongoing membership for continued support after the program.
