

Why I Made This Program

It’s hard seeking help from someone who has never experienced what you’re going through. That’s why I decided to create this program—because I truly understand what it feels like to struggle with binge eating. ​I struggled with binge eating disorder for about five years. ​I hated my body. ​I was scared of food. ​I became depressed. ​I often isolated myself.​ I was constantly irritable, stressed, and overwhelmed.​ I couldn’t stop thinking about food or how my body was being perceived by everyone around me. ​My eating disorder crept up on me slowly. It began as a binge every month or so. Then it became biweekly. Then weekly. Then, at my lowest point, daily. ​My weight fluctuated constantly. At one point, I gained 30 pounds in a single month during a period of daily binging. ​I punished myself at the gym.​ Picked myself apart in the mirror.​ Cried myself to sleep. ​I honestly hated myself. ​But one day, something shifted. ​I realized that there were other people feeling the exact same things I was feeling—and there would continue to be people struggling silently with this in the future. ​Something inside me ignited that day. I decided that I was done. I was done living trapped in the binge-restrict cycle. I was going to overcome it. I was going to create my own method. And one day, I was going to use that method to help others overcome it, too. ​So, here I am to say: that is exactly what I did. ​And I am SO excited to share it with you, because it truly changed my life. ​I have not binged in years. ​And one day, I want you to be able to say the same thing, too.
